The Desires (1980-1981)

After Haywire broke up in 1980, Gary Manley and I put a new band together, focused on a different style of music than Haywire. We auditioned keyboard players and drummers. The keyboard player we chose, Howie Albertsen, turned out to be a great lead singer, to the point where his keyboard playing, which was good, is not featured on these demo tracks. These tracks are the only recordings of that band, a 4 song demo that never got promoted, because shortly after this recording was made Gary decided he was burnt out and needed to spend more time with his young family. Once again, high hopes were dashed.
