Paul Fifield Music

It had been over ten years since we last played together. We organized a reunion just so we could reconnect and play again. Tom Daggett on guitar/vocals on the left. Mark Fassett on guitar on the right. Mike Claire on drums for 4 songs and then on keys for 9 songs and then back on drums. Ken McLaren on drums while Mike was on keys. Paul Fifield on bass/vocals. We played tunes that had been in our repertoire over the course of the 17 years we'd been together in various configurations. We didn't rehearse. We just got together and went for it. 

These videos were shot on a Zoom Q8N-4K camcorder. The audio is a blend of the camcorder stereo mic array (mixed in as room mics) and discreet multi-tracks. The multi-track digital recorder/mixer was fed by direct outs from Tom's guitar amp, Paul's bass amp, Mike's keyboard amp, Mike and Ken's digital/analog drum kit (fed into a sub mixer then into the multi-track digital recorder/mixer as a discreet mono track), and a mic on Mark's guitar amp. Thanks to Sound Union for providing the studio space, all the back line (including the drum kit), the mics, the drum sub mixer, the multi-track digital recorder/mixer and Tom's guitar. And thanks to Mike for setting this session up. It was great fun and we plan to do it again.
